50% of rescuers are being mobilized? Statement from the State Emergency Service.
Information about the mobilization of half of the employees of the State Emergency Service (SES) is unreliable, the Service reported. Earlier, it was reported that 90% of SES personnel were reserved, but this information turned out to be incorrect.
However, employees of operational response units, such as firefighters, sappers, rescuers, and others, must still be present in full force. The Service emphasizes that SES workers rescue citizens and eliminate the consequences of shelling daily, risking their health and lives.
They urge citizens to use only verified information and to refer to official comments from the SES for accurate data.
On June 7, 2024, a decision was made to reserve 90% of SES and National Police employees, while 10% of SES employees had the opportunity to choose which military formations to mobilize into.
It should also be noted that on January 15, the Verkhovna Rada extended martial law and general mobilization for 90 days.
