November 8: all regions of Ukraine are waiting for power outages.
All regions of Ukraine will be forced to implement measures to limit electricity consumption tomorrow, November 8. This is due to the consequences of Russian missile and drone attacks on energy facilities. This was reported by the publication 'Glavkom' citing 'Ukrenergo'.
Schedules of outages and restrictions
According to inkorr.com: Tomorrow, November 8, hourly outage schedules will be implemented in Ukraine:
- from 08:00 to 21:00 - with a capacity of 1 to 2 shifts.
There will also be power limitation schedules:
from 07:00 to 22:00 - for industrial consumers.
'Attention! The time and volume of restrictions may change. Follow the information on the official pages of the electricity supply companies in your region. When electricity is available according to the schedule - please consume it sparingly!', - emphasizes Ukrenergo.
Unpredictable power supply situation
The Energy Supervision Department noted that even with the continuous operation of 'Ukrenergo', it is difficult to predict power outages in Ukraine for more than a week. This was reported by the acting head of the 'State Energy Supervision' Anatoly Zamulko.
Moreover, on November 4, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a draft law concerning infrastructure projects in the energy sector with public interest.
Additionally, the 'Kyiv Digital' team in partnership with DTEK 'Kyiv Electric Grids' updated the directory of addresses and locations of shifts in the 'DTEK Light' service. Residents are advised to check if their address is saved to receive relevant notifications.
Considering the recent missile and drone attacks, electricity consumption restrictions become a necessity. It is important to monitor your consumption and the latest information regarding restrictions, to handle resources responsibly during this challenging time.
