Zelensky on life after presidency: Perhaps I will rest.
According to ТСН: The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky shared his thoughts on the future after the end of hostilities and his time in office.
He discussed these plans during an interview with Fox News.
When asked by a journalist what he would do after the war ends and his term concludes, Zelensky replied briefly and sincerely.
"I don’t know... Perhaps I will rest. I really want that," the head of state admitted.
So far, the president is not considering launching new political or civic projects. He emphasizes the importance of recovery after a difficult period in the country's history and his life.
It should be noted that earlier Volodymyr Zelensky repeatedly emphasized his intention to remain in office until the state of war is over according to Ukrainian legislation.
In addition, the president also spoke about when martial law will be lifted in Ukraine.
These statements by the president illustrate his desire to focus on rebuilding the country after the conflict ends. Zelensky's plans for rest may mark the beginning of a new stage in his life, but the responsibility for reforms and further political activity will remain a relevant topic of discussion in Ukraine. At the same time, his guaranteed presence in office until the end of the state of war indicates stability and the continuation of leadership during difficult times for the nation.
