Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) will receive 2000 hryvnias for six months of work: who is entitled to payment.
According to inkorr.com: In Ukraine, internally displaced persons (IDPs) have received a new support mechanism - a one-time payment of 2000 hryvnias for six months of continuous work. This government initiative aims to encourage the employment of refugees who are adapting to life in new communities.
The support is available for those who work under an employment contract or as an individual entrepreneur (FOP).This is reported by

Who is entitled to additional financial assistance for IDPs
IDPs who applied for the payment can be those who, after relocating and receiving standard state living assistance (within 6 months), continued to work or established their own business.
Under what conditions can additional financial assistance for IDPs be received
The requirements are simple yet clear:
-
Continuous employment for 6 months after receiving state assistance;
-
Employment under an employment contract or registration as an FOP until the end of this period;
-
Submitting an application through the “Action” application after the six-month period.
The payment amount is 2000 hryvnias, which corresponds to the monthly assistance for
living for an adult IDP. It is a one-time support, regardless of the refugee category, but it requires confirmation of professional activity.
The application will be processed through the “Action” application, which facilitates obtaining assistance: it is enough to log in, fill out the form, and wait for a notification. This motivates those who are already working to remain active in the labor market.
As of 2025, over 4.9 million refugees were registered in Ukraine, but standard living assistance continues for only vulnerable groups - pensioners, people with disabilities, and large families.
The new paymentaims to encourage active IDPs to economic activity, reducing dependence on the state. According to the Ministry of Social Policy, in 2024, 35% of refugees found jobs, and 10% opened their own business. Experts believe that this initiative could cover up to 100 thousand people by the end of 2026 if the economy remains stable.
Thus, the new support mechanism for internally displaced persons in Ukraine effectively stimulates their integration into the country's economy. It provides an opportunity not only to receive financial support but also motivates people to actively seek jobs or establish their own businesses, which in turn can positively affect the overall state of the economy.
