The State Employment Service announced the average salary in Ukraine for 2025.
According to inkorr.com: The average salary in Ukraine in 2025 is expected to be around 13,649 UAH, although significant fluctuations can be seen in different regions and professions. The highest salaries are promised in Kyiv and the Kherson region, while the lowest are observed in the Rivne and Poltava regions. This was reported by the
State Employment Service.
Average salaries by region in 2025
According to the State Employment Service, salary levels vary depending on the region and area of activity. In cities and regions with a strong economy, offers are higher, while in less developed regions they are lower. Here is the distribution of average salaries by region:
Kyiv – 17,859 UAH.
Kherson region – 16,011 UAH.
Lviv region – 15,167 UAH.
Kyiv region – 15,252 UAH.
Rivne region – 11,200 UAH.
Poltava region – 11,376 UAH.
The highest paying professions in 2025
Among professions
the highest paying are workersworking with technological equipment, as well as skilled specialists who use tools. The lowest salaries are earned by trade workers and those professions that do not require special training. Here are the average salaries by sectors:
Equipment maintenance workers – 16,771 UAH.
Skilled workers with tools – 15,973 UAH.
Managers and executives – 15,863 UAH.
Professionals – 13,310 UAH.
Specialists – 12,312 UAH.
Trade and service workers – 11,303 UAH.
Simple professions – 11,215 UAH.
Among popular professions, salaries look like this:
Teachers of general secondary education – 13–14 thousand UAH.
Transport drivers – 13–14 thousand UAH.
Cooks – 11–12 thousand UAH.
Auxiliary workers – 11–12 thousand UAH.
