Andrii Mesyuk defended Ukraine: the life of a hero who gave everything for it.
According to inkorr.com: Every day at 9 a.m., Ukrainians honor the memory of all those whose lives were cut short by the Russo-Ukrainian war. Today, we will remember Andrii Mesyuk.
After the full-scale war began, Andrii Mesyuk decided to voluntarily defend his country, even though he had never served in the army and had no prior military experience. He believed that defending his homeland was an honor and a duty of every man. Unfortunately, his life was cut short at the age of 35.
Andrii Petrovich Mesyuk was born on December 12, 1987, in Chernivtsi. He studied at Gymnasium No.1 (now Lyceum No.8). From childhood, he knew how to stand up for his opinions. Even when his views differed from those of his friends, he never backed down. He had vibrant energy and a thirst for new knowledge.
Like many boys his age, Andrii loved football during his school years, and he was also interested in music - he played the piano and guitar.
"He grew up a cheerful, healthy, handsome boy, such a bright one. He had many friends and always protected the bullied. He had a heightened sense of justice. I remember the time we bought Andrii an expensive sweater. A few days later, he came home from school without it. I asked where the new item went. He replied, 'There was a boy in school who looked at me like this… His parents can't buy him a sweater. So I gave him mine,'" says Hanna Mesyuk about her younger son.
Professional path and service in the army
After finishing school, Andrii obtained a law degree and later received a qualification in 'Public Administration'. He worked in both state structures and the private sector, and for a time was an assistant to a people's deputy.
Andrii got married, and he had two sons — Andrii and Maksym. However, the family fell apart.
In his second marriage, a daughter was born. This happened shortly before the full-scale invasion began. The father managed to christen the child, and by February 28, 2022, he went to the military recruitment office. Little Viktoriia was only three weeks old at that time.
This news is about Andrii Mesyuk, who voluntarily participated in the defense of Ukraine during the Russo-Ukrainian war. He was known as a patriot, a loyal friend, and a compassionate person, always ready to help others. His life path inspires admiration and respect, and his dedication to his homeland inspires new feats.
