According to inkorr.com: The Governor of Volgograd Region Andrey Bocharov reported on the effective operation of the air defense system, which managed to repel a drone attack on the energy infrastructure of the region. As a result of the incident, a fire broke out at the 'Balashovskaya' substation.
Fire services quickly began to extinguish the fire. However, neighboring Saratov also suffered: the oil refinery sustained damage, and the activities of the local airport were suspended.
