Deadly Attacks Across Three Ukrainian Regions
According to UATV: On July 15, 2023, Russian forces launched assaults on the Donetsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions, killing at least 5 civilians and injuring 16 others. These attacks highlight the escalating violence in areas that have faced repeated bombardment throughout the conflict.
In Kramatorsk, the Russian military carried out two separate strikes. An FPV drone attack left 5 people affected: 2 dead and 3 wounded. The bombardments also damaged 17 private homes. In the city of Kherson, 1 man was killed and 7 residents sustained injuries. Mykolaiv region reported 2 fatalities, including an agricultural worker; one other person was hospitalized with wounds.
Additionally, Russian drones targeted a critical infrastructure site in Mykolaiv Oblast, damaging 2 vessels. On the same day, the Russian army conducted six strikes on the Sumy region, resulting in 3 deaths and 17 injuries.
Local Officials Speak Out
Vadym Filashkin, a local government leader, commented on the events, stating:
