According to inkorr.com: In several regions of Ukraine, including Kyiv, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, and Kharkiv regions, emergency power outages have been implemented due to attacks by Russian forces on the energy infrastructure. This information was announced by 'Ukrenergo' based on data from 'Glavkom'.

In Chernihiv region, hourly power outages have also been introduced as the enemy continues to strike at the energy system. Restoration of electricity supply in the region is ongoing.

DTEK reported the cancellation of emergency power outages in Kyiv and Kyiv region.

On October 17, the introduction of power supply restriction schedules for industrial consumers across Ukraine is planned from 07:00 to 22:00.

As President Zelensky stated on October 10, Russian forces attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure using drones and missiles, deploying over 450 drones and several dozen missiles.

The country also experienced attacks on the night of October 14, with the primary target remaining energy. These actions may lead to the necessity of electricity imports to Ukraine this winter due to the continuous enemy strikes on the energy system.

The head of 'Ukrenergo' emphasized that emergency power outages in Ukraine could last for a week.
