Avesterra Group Commits €15 Million to New Poultry Complex, Outlines Expansion Through 2028.
Avesterra Group's Investment in New Poultry Facilities
According to TSN.ua: Avesterra Group, a leading Ukrainian poultry producer, has announced a €15 million investment to construct a new poultry complex featuring 20 houses. This initiative is part of a broader strategy that includes building six additional production sites by 2028, with total project investment expected to reach approximately €100 million. This significant capital expenditure underscores the company's commitment to expanding and modernizing Ukraine's agricultural sector, even during wartime.
The company's current operations encompass 12 production teams and 120 poultry houses, enabling an annual rearing capacity of up to 35.1 million birds. A single placement across its facilities exceeds 5 million heads. The new production site, spanning 19 hectares with over 55,000 square meters of buildings, is planned to produce around 250,000 broilers per day, highlighting the firm's substantial production potential.
Dmytro Dobkin, a company representative: 'Investing in new poultry houses is a key component of Avesterra Group's long-term development strategy and our mission to modernize production in Ukraine.'
Svitlana Sobipan, the company's director, emphasized that 'launching this production site is the result of extensive managerial effort.'
Avesterra Group's Economic Impact
Since the onset of the full-scale war, Avesterra Group has invested over €75 million, demonstrating remarkable resilience and a steadfast commitment to supporting the national economy. In 2025 alone, the group's enterprises contributed over 500 million hryvnias to the state budget, bringing its total wartime tax payments to more than 1.5 billion hryvnias. Viktor Polishchuk noted that 'today, the company's taxes account for roughly 13% of the local community's own budget revenues.'
As a major taxpayer for many communities in its district, the company's activities are vital to the local economy. It employs over 1,500 people, making a substantial contribution to job creation in the region.
The group's brands, including 'Epicur,' 'Chebaturikha,' and 'Delika,' are well-established in the market. The company continues to strengthen its position by accessing new export markets for Ukrainian agricultural products. Volodymyr Koval pointed out that 'in 2025 alone, through the joint efforts of the State Service on Food Safety and Consumer Protection, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, 19 new markets for agricultural exports were opened.'
Thus, Avesterra Group remains a pivotal player in Ukraine's agrarian market. It continues to invest in the development and modernization of its production while supporting the national economy during a challenging period. These investments reflect a long-term growth strategy, foster new employment opportunities crucial for the regional economy, and enhance Ukraine's capacity to export agricultural goods to international markets.
