Russian airstrike on Kherson: police showed the consequences.
As a result of the airstrike by the Russian military on Kherson, 39 residential buildings, a higher education institution, and private houses and a kindergarten were damaged. The number of injured has risen to 10 people, reports the police of the Kherson region.
According to police information, at 11 a.m. the city was shelled by Russian military forces. 'Four bombs were dropped on the city by Russian war criminals,' the police reported.
It is noted that the bombs fell on private houses, a kindergarten, the territory of a factory, and a maintenance station. Also, 39 residential buildings and a higher education institution were damaged.
Assistance was provided by investigative operational groups, the police's explosives service, patrol officers, rescuers, and medical workers.
Witness Roman Mrochko also published a video from the shelling site. 'One of the bombs that Russian terrorists dropped on Kherson today 'landed' near the kindergarten and private houses. The destruction is very serious, but fortunately, no one was injured,' Mrochko reported.
'At 11:00 another woman in Kherson sustained injuries from the shelling,' the message states.
A 65-year-old woman who was injured received medical assistance on site. She was diagnosed with a concussion, blast and closed cranial trauma, and right shoulder injury. She was in the house during the shelling.
Recall that on January 6 in Kherson, a Russian drone attacked a minibus, resulting in one death and nine injuries. The deceased was an ecology specialist from the Kherson City Council.
Russia continues to attack the Kherson region, shelling civilian and public transport. In January 2022, there have already been several similar incidents that resulted in injuries and deaths among the civilian population, and Russian terrorists damaged the Lithuanian honorary consulate. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania called for the cessation of further acts of violence and for providing Ukraine with the necessary support to defeat the aggressor.
