Deadly car accident in Transcarpathia: woman killed, car fell into the Black Tisa river
Today, January 6, a road traffic accident occurred in Transcarpathia, resulting in the death of a 35-year-old woman. A Volkswagen Touran left the road and fell into the Black Tisa river. According to the State Emergency Service, the driver managed to get out of the car and reach the shore, but his passenger was found dead.
According to rescuers, the woman and her husband were trying to drive from the village of Bohdan to the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
“The driver managed to get out of the car on his own and swim to the shore. Emergency medical personnel took him to the hospital in Rakhiv. The woman’s body was found by rescuers 300 meters downstream,” the report said.
Currently, the circumstances of the accident are being established by specialists.
We remind you that on January 3, a large-scale car accident occurred on Hlybochytska Street in Kyiv.
Also, on January 2, a truck broke through the fence and fell off a bridge in Kyiv’s Vidubichi district. Due to feeling unwell, the driver of the Volvo truck lost control and overturned off the bridge. Rescuers freed the truck driver and handed him over to medics.
