Fighters of the 12th Special Purpose Brigade 'Azov' captured 20 Russians in the Toretsk direction, reports 'Glavkom' citing the press service of 'Azov'.
They were lucky to survive. However, most of their 'comrades' still lie in the fields and groves after unsuccessful assaults. Voluntarily surrendering their weapons is the only way for the Russians to return from Ukraine alive and to be exchanged for Ukrainian defenders. In any other case, the fighters of the 12th Special Purpose Brigade 'Azov' will take care of eliminating enemy targets in their direction.
We remind that Ukrainian fighters captured five Russian soldiers during a special operation at the front line. One of them likely has a special status.
Additionally, fighters of the reconnaissance platoon of the 2nd battalion of the 12th Special Purpose Brigade 'Azov' captured three occupants during a cleanup in the Toretsk direction. One of the captives - 19-year-old Dmytro Yaptik - is a Nenets from a village on the Yamal Peninsula. This is one of the indigenous peoples of Northern Russia. He is numerically small and is currently under threat of extinction.
