Women will no longer give birth — the Russian Orthodox Church named Russian women promiscuous.
The Russian Orthodox Church has identified the guilty parties in the catastrophic demographic situation in Russia. According to priest Andrei Tkachev, only women are to blame.
According to information from Minval and The Moscow Times, in his sermon, Tkachev expressed concern about the demographic crisis in Russia, emphasizing that the country’s population is declining. He noted that the birth rate in the country is below the necessary minimum to maintain the population.
In his latest sermon, Tkachev accused women of the population decline: 'It’s time when women do not give birth anymore: they have become weak, cowardly, promiscuous, and do not want to give birth,' he admonished women.
Tkachev also supports the Russian war in Ukraine, where Russian army losses have reached one million people. He called to protect the nation from negative influences and suggested an alternative: military service at the front.
Previously, Tkachev had expressed similar thoughts about women, seeing them only as a shadow of men and encouraging them to be solely wives and supportive forces for their husbands.
It was also reported that another priest from the Russian Orthodox Church expressed satisfaction with people being referred to death.
Father Andrei Tkachev, in his sermon, accused women of the population decline and supported the war in Ukraine. Such statements have caused outrage and discussions about the openly scandalous views of some representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church.
