Multipolar World Order: Putin Signed a "Partnership" Agreement with North Korea.
President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin signed a law that ratifies a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement with North Korea.
The document was published on the official legal information portal of the Russian Federation.
The agreement was signed during Putin's visit to North Korea in June of this year and recently received approval from the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
According to the key provisions of the document, the parties committed to providing immediate military and other assistance in case of an armed attack on one of the signatory countries.
One of the important provisions of the agreement is the prohibition of entering into agreements with third countries that may harm the interests of the partner. Both parties also agree not to use their territories to undermine the sovereignty of the other party.
The document also provides for joint efforts to strengthen the "multipolar world order" and develop cross-border cooperation between states.
