According to Novyny.live: In the early hours of July 6, Kyiv was struck by a series of powerful explosions as the enemy launched a ballistic missile assault. An air raid alert was issued across the capital and many Ukrainian regions at 1:12 AM. Less than half an hour later, at 1:36 AM, the Ukrainian Air Force detected ballistic missile launches heading toward the city.
A second wave of explosions hit Kyiv at 1:46 AM. In response, official Tkachenko urged residents to stay in shelters, stating:
“The enemy is firing ballistic missiles. Please remain in shelters.” - Tkachenko
The situation remains tense, and authorities continue to call on Kyiv residents to follow safety protocols.
