Barcelona topped the ranking of the best cities for work and leisure
Barcelona has been recognized as the best city in the world for those who want to combine vacation with work. This was reported by the company IWG.
The overall ranking featured 26 cities, evaluated across eight parameters on a scale of 1 to 10. Factors such as climate, cuisine, culture, housing, and quality of internet connection were studied.
'We selected categories that help find the ideal environment for working abroad while considering key quality of life requirements,' said Darren Rogers from IWG.
It is worth noting that Barcelona received high scores for the availability of high-speed internet and reasonable rental prices.
'The average cost of an apartment in the city is $1158 per month, which is half the amount in New York - the most expensive city in the ranking. A coffee in Barcelona costs $2.68, compared to $4.92 in Los Angeles or $4.57 in Beijing,' the report states.
