Kharkiv Region's Kupiansk Without Light and Gas After Shelling: How Residents Survive.
In the city of Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region, there is no gas supply or electricity due to Russian shelling. People are forced to cook food on the street near damaged houses and burnt cars.
Kupiansk After the Attacks
Local residents claim that despite the lack of heating, windows, and doors in private homes, they are not receiving humanitarian aid. One of the damaged buildings is an apartment block where dozens of families once lived, but now only eight people remain alive.
It was reported that on August 5, Russian troops dropped guided bombs on a residential building in Kupiansk. As of August 11, people remained trapped under the rubble, which rescuers were trying to reach.
It was also reported that in the Kharkiv region, a contractor responsible for building fortifications violated contract terms. The court ordered him to compensate the state for the damages.
The actions of the Russian military have once again led to a humanitarian disaster in the city of Kupiansk, where residents are left without gas supply and electricity. This has resulted in people having to solve housing and food problems on their own, without receiving sufficient assistance from government authorities.
