Afipsky Oil Refinery in Russia Attacked by Drones: Major Fire Breaks Out.
According to inkorr.com: On the night of September 26, a new phase of drone attacks on oil refineries in Russia occurred. This time, the Afipsky Oil Refinery located in the Krasnodar region was hit, resulting in a large-scale fire.
Let’s recall the previous attacks on oil refineries in Russia
On August 28, an oil refinery in the Krasnodar region and another in the Samara region were targeted in drone attacks. These strikes also caused fires. It is also worth mentioning that on the night of August 24, Ukrainian forces struck an oil refinery in the Samara region.
The attacks on oil processing facilities in Russia indicate an escalation of military actions aimed at affecting key economic targets of the enemy. This reflects a change in tactics and an intensification of operations in territories that were relatively considered safe until recently.
