Drones attacked a key oil refinery in Russia: ten explosions were heard.
According to inkorr.com: On the night of November 16, an attack occurred at the Novokuibyshevsk oil refinery in the Samara region of Russia. Drones targeted this important facility, capable of processing up to 8.8 million tons of oil per year. Local residents reported hearing about ten explosions during the incident. The Novokuibyshevsk refinery supplies fuel and petrochemical products to various types of transportation.
Other attacks on oil facilities
Prior to this, on the night of November 11, an explosion in Saratov triggered a series of explosions at the Saratov oil refinery, causing significant damage to the facility. Also, on the night of November 14, an oil depot in the Novorossiysk complex 'Sheskharis' was attacked by drones, resulting in damage to coastal structures and equipment.
The situation in this region remains tense, and attacks on oil facilities have become more frequent, which could lead to serious losses for businesses and negative consequences for the environment.
