According to inkorr.com: On the night of August 29, drones attacked the Russian city of Oryol, located in the Oryol region. This is reported by 'Glavkom', referring to Exilenova+.
Local residents reported hearing about 15 explosions. Smoke arose in one area of Oryol, and a fire broke out.
Russians have recorded many videos where the sounds of explosions can be heard and smoke is visible. There is currently no official information. Russian Telegram channels inform that the attack began after 1:00 AM.
Attacks in other regions of Russia
On the night of August 28, Afipsky Oil Refinery in the Krasnodar Krai and Novokuybyshevsk Oil Refinery in the Samara region were attacked. This is also reported by 'Glavkom' citing Exilenova+.
Recall that on the night of August 24, units of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in cooperation with other segments of the Defense Forces, struck a fuel and energy infrastructure facility in Russia, targeting the Syzran Oil Refinery in the Samara region.
Earlier, the commander of the UAV forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Robert Brovdi 'Madyar', demonstrated a fire at the 'Unecha' oil pumping station in the Bryansk region after yet another drone attack.
Events with drones in various Ukrainian regions reflect the escalation of the conflict and the increasing intensity of hostilities. Attacks on industrial facilities and infrastructure are taking their toll, raising tensions between the parties involved in the conflict.
