Bloomberg reported when Russia may strike Ukraine again with the 'Oreshnik'.
Russia may strike Ukraine with the ballistic missile 'Oreshnik' in the coming days, reports Bloomberg. According to an American official, Vladimir Putin only possesses a few experimental missiles of this type.
Recall that on November 21, Russia struck Dnipro with the missile 'Oreshnik', the 'Pivdenmash' enterprise was affected. The missile launch was conducted from the 'Kapustin Yar' test site in the Astrakhan region. Putin claimed a 'successful test' of the new weapon.
Associated Press spoke with SBU employees and saw fragments of the 'Oreshnik' missile that Russia used to strike Ukraine. Journalists noticed fragments at an unknown location in Ukraine, which are still being investigated.
Putin stated that the 'Oreshnik' missile is an entirely new design and can hit even the most protected targets. He warns that Kyiv may be the next target for this missile. Additionally, Putin claims that when using multiple 'Oreshnik' missiles, their power will be equivalent to the use of nuclear weapons.
According to Reuters, the warheads of the 'Oreshnik' missile that struck 'Pivdenmash' in Dnipro did not contain any explosive material.
