Glen Grant emphasized that Russia must be extremely cautious in how it expends its ballistic missiles, as producing them is a complex endeavor.
“Russia needs to be very careful about spending its ballistic missiles, because manufacturing them is not easy,” he noted.According to Grant, Russian forces are attempting to launch large volleys of missiles simultaneously. However, he added that 'pauses will inevitably occur' between such attacks.
The expert further argued that these actions do not reflect a position of strength.
“This is not a show of strength. On the contrary, it is an act from a position of weakness,” Grant stated, stressing that the situation in Ukraine is complex and requires careful analysis.
As a result, the situation surrounding the strikes on Kyiv and the threat of new attacks remains tense, with expert opinions highlighting the difficulties Russia faces in sustaining its war effort.
These developments underscore the escalation of the conflict in Ukraine, which has now been ongoing for over a year. The international community is closely monitoring the situation, as further attacks could have serious consequences not only for Ukraine but also for regional security as a whole. Meanwhile, analysts point to potential repercussions for Russia, given the challenges it encounters in conducting combat operations.
