Exemption from Military Mobilization Without a Medical Board: Who Qualifies and How Long It Lasts.
Reservation Status at Enterprises Deemed Critical
According to Novyny.live: Employees working at enterprises classified as critically important can obtain a reservation that shields them from military mobilization. This deferment remains in effect until the worker leaves the company, allowing them to avoid conscription while fulfilling their duties at a vital facility. A key point is that undergoing a military medical commission (MMC) is not required to secure this reservation.
The maximum number of employees eligible for reservation is based on the total count of military-liable staff at the enterprise. This means all such workers may be covered if they meet the criteria. If needed, the territorial center for recruitment and social support (TCR) can order a medical examination for an individual during the reservation period.
'You do not need to undergo the MMC on your own. However, since you are classified as partially fit, the TCR may send you for a medical check-up while the reservation is active.' Vladyslav Deriy
It is worth noting that undergoing the MMC is only advisable if you receive a summons or a referral from the TCR. This is confirmed by Yuriy Ayvazyan, who stated:
'The MMC should be completed if you receive a summons or a referral from the TCR.' Yuriy Ayvazyan
In this way, the reservation system for employees of critically important enterprises helps preserve workforce capacity in key economic sectors while still allowing for medical assessments when necessary. This approach supports the stability of essential industries and simultaneously meets the state's mobilization requirements.
The introduction of this reservation system for workers at critical enterprises plays a significant role in maintaining the operation of key economic sectors during mobilization. It not only prevents labor shortages but also enables adaptation to wartime conditions, which is crucial for sustaining the country's economic stability. Given the current situation, these measures may have lasting effects on the labor market and the social fabric of society.
