The head of the Ministry of Defense's intelligence unit participated in the operation to liberate the Vovchansk aggregate plant
Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, directly supervised the mission to liberate the Vovchansk aggregate plant. This was reported by the commander of the 'Stugna' unit, Timur Linux.
It's no secret that Kyrylo Oleksiyovych Budanov often directly participates in operations. Specifically, in this operation, he was with us at a crucial moment, in a key stage. He was present for several days, directly supervising the mission. Undoubtedly, this supports the fighters, gives them motivation
According to Linux, an important stage of the operation was the discreet concentration of Ukrainian forces and means in the combat mission area.
This is actually the classic of operations for special units. It's a complex multi-stage operation, involving large forces: drone systems, artillery, and personnel experienced in clearing similar buildings. So this was a task for us, and we accomplished it fully
Linux emphasized that the success of the operation depended on the clear coordination between different special unit groups.
Each of these groups had its own work specifics, and overall it was possible to maintain this coordination. This is always important in any units
The Vovchansk aggregate plant was liberated from the occupiers, and the special forces who participated in this operation were awarded by Budanov.
According to intelligence, Ukrainian soldiers captured about 20 occupiers and eliminated several dozen others at the aggregate plant in Vovchansk.
The Main Intelligence Directorate officially confirmed that Ukrainian soldiers liberated the aggregate plant, captured two dozen occupiers, and control the territory after clearing 30 buildings of the facility.
