Warning from Kyrylo Budanov about an information escalation

According to inkorr.com: Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, made an important statement about a possible escalation of information tension that will begin on September 12. On this day, military exercises called 'West-2025' will start in Belarus. This was reported by the resource Glavkom.

Budanov noted that after the Russian invasion began in 2022, such exercises are no longer perceived solely as military maneuvers. He emphasized that the start of the active phase of the exercises could provoke intense information attacks, primarily from Russia.

'That is, they will be playing out certain elements of the war of the future already. This is not about Ukraine. Here ... a symbol and a sign for, first of all, European countries, primarily for the Baltic states,' Budanov explained.

The general also emphasized that the purpose of these exercises is to practice maneuvers in the western part of the theater of military operations. Russia and Belarus plan to conduct scenarios that include the use of nuclear weapons and 'Oreshnik' missiles during the exercises.

A warning about a possible escalation of the situation was expressed by Budanov before the start of the 'West-2025' exercises in Belarus, highlighting the seriousness of the current situation and the importance of readiness for possible crisis situations in the Eastern European region.

This information pertains not only to military maneuvers but also to overall security in Europe. Following the start of the 'West-2025' exercises, there will be not only military activities but also intensified information campaigns that could influence public opinion in the region. It is essential to be prepared for various scenarios of events.
