Kyrylo Budanov emphasized that the current dialogue extends beyond the restoration of infrastructure to include the consolidation of society and the healing of wounds inflicted by the war.

"Today, our dialogue is already about the future: the strategy for rebuilding Ukraine, consolidating society, and healing the wounds inflicted by the war," he stressed.

"For the state, the experience of the UGCC is unique. This is a church that operated in deep secrecy for decades, survived under the total repression of the Soviet secret services, and remained faithful to its people," stated the Head of the President's Office.

This meeting continued a dialogue between Budanov and Sviatoslav, as they had previously met in March 2022. Furthermore, Kyrylo Budanov recently held a meeting with Epiphanius on March 8, demonstrating the state's active efforts to foster relations with religious organizations.

It is important to note that over the past four years, the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War has conducted more than 70 prisoner exchanges, marking a significant phase in Ukraine's humanitarian efforts.
