Budanov responded to threats of the 'Oreshnik' strike on Ukraine.
The head of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense commented on the potential threat of a strike by 'Oreshnik'
Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, stated that there is currently no threat of a strike by Russia with the 'Oreshnik' missile on the territory of Ukraine. This information was shared by Budanov in a comment to '24 Channel'.
He also noted that in case of any suspicious movements of the Russian troops regarding the launch of 'Oreshnik' at Ukraine, the GUR of the Ministry of Defense will definitely inform about it. He urged everyone to calm down, emphasizing that warnings from the intelligence agency are always provided in advance.
Earlier, the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine already stated that theoretically Russia might use the 'Oreshnik' missile, but Ukraine will be informed about it in advance.
