Bukovel. How prices have changed at the ski resort after the New Year holidays.
Bukovel remains the most popular and expensive ski resort in Ukraine. Thousands of tourists come here every day, both from Ukraine and abroad. 'Glavkom' compared prices before and after the New Year.
Change in accommodation prices in Bukovel
At the beginning of December 2024, it was almost impossible to book accommodation in Bukovel for New Year's Eve for two adults. Only 5 accommodations were available, which constituted only 2% of the total number of rooms.
However, after the holidays, the situation changed. As of January 18, 2025, there are 59 free accommodations available for booking. In addition, accommodation prices significantly decreased after the New Year holidays. For example, a room that cost 12,847 UAH on New Year's Eve now costs 8,540 UAH, making a vacation in Bukovel more affordable for tourists planning a trip in January.
Changes in ski pass and food prices in Bukovel
After the festive season, changes in food and resort service prices are noted in Bukovel. Prices for dishes in local establishments have increased by 20-45 UAH. For example, the Transcarpathian bograch, which cost 325 UAH in December 2024, is now sold for 355 UAH.
But for skiing enthusiasts, there is good news - ski pass prices have decreased. During the holiday period, prices were higher, but now a one-day pass costs 1,800 UAH.
We remind you that despite all the difficulties, Ukrainians continue to travel, choosing both affordable and expensive destinations for vacations. Tourism experts in Ukraine shared about popular winter vacation destinations, average trip costs, and changes in prices over the past year.
