Missing for almost three years. Former deputy Oleg Kuzenko died at the front.
Death of the deputy of Lviv Regional Council from the All-Ukrainian Union 'Svoboda'
Oleg Tyagnibok, the head of the All-Ukrainian Union 'Svoboda', reported the death of Oleg Kuzenko, a deputy of the Lviv Regional Council of the sixth convocation.
Oleg Kuzenko was born in the city of Novyi Rozdil in Lviv region. He was an entrepreneur and a deputy of the Lviv Regional Council of the sixth convocation from the All-Ukrainian Union 'Svoboda'.
According to Oleg Tyagnibok, Kuzenko was an active public and political figure, a veteran of the Anti-Terrorist Operation and a participant in revolutions. In the Lviv Regional Council, he held the position of secretary of the commission on investment and regulatory policy, energy sector, energy efficiency, and entrepreneurship development.
Kuzenko served as a senior mechanic-driver in the 24th Detached Mechanized Brigade.
Return of remains and condolences
Kuzenko went missing in March 2022, but it was only confirmed that he had died at the beginning of 2025. Russia returned his remains during a swap of bodies of the deceased.
The Lviv Regional Council expressed condolences on the death of the deputy of the sixth convocation, warrior Oleg Kuzenko.
Death of the commander of the assault group
Kyrylo Zhuk, the commander of the assault group with the call sign Nelson, died at the front. He was a professional military man and one of the founders of the Kyiv Plast.
It is known that Kyrylo Zhuk died back in May 2024, but this information was kept secret. The spokesperson for the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Andriy Kovalov, emphasized that there are certain reasons for such a decision.
Farewell to the Ukrainian defender
On January 10, there was a farewell to the Ukrainian defender Andriy Kuzmenko, an officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a Marine. He was the husband of the Ukrainian journalist Anastasia Fedchenko.
