Accident at the boiler house in Konotop left people without heating
According to Korrespondent.net: In Konotop, located in the Sumy region, on November 7, part of the residents were left without heating due to an accident with the electrical equipment of one of the boiler houses. The incident occurred due to a sudden voltage spike. This was reported by the city's mayor Artem Semenikhin on his Telegram channel.
'As a result of the voltage spike during the switching of the 'power supply shifts,' the electrical equipment at one of the city's boiler houses failed, and the residents were left without heating,' the mayor noted.
He clarified that repair work will only begin during the day, so the return of heating to the affected houses may occur no earlier than November 8.
'From early morning, the specialists of KP Teplogarant will make every effort to restore the damaged communications and equipment. Currently, residents of part of the Myr microdistrict (the area of the Cinema, area behind the Passage) are without heating,' the mayor added.
