Will there be power outages on August 21: 'Ukrenergo' forecast.
Load shedding schedule announced
Tomorrow, August 21, power outage queues will be applied from 16:00 to 18:00 and from 22:00 to 24:00, the company 'Ukrenergo' reported. From 18:00 to 22:00, two outages will be conducted simultaneously. No outages are planned for other hours. Consumption of critical infrastructure facilities remains unchanged.
The power outage schedules for different regions can be viewed on the websites of Oblenergo and DTEK.
Recall that today, August 20, due to the heat, electricity consumption in Ukraine increased by 2.1%, so in all regions from 16:00 to 24:00 there will be restrictions. Since Monday, August 19, power outage schedules have returned in Ukraine due to heat. DTEK plans to restore 60-70% of the generation lost due to shelling this spring by October.
The head of 'Ukrenergo' Volodymyr Kudrytskyi hopes that the electricity deficit will gradually decrease during August, September, and October, if there are no new large-scale shellings.
