The military confirmed that the Russians are trying to expand the occupation zone in the Sumy region.
Officially and with all responsibility we inform: Andriivka has been and remains under the full control of the group of troops 'Kursk'. Therefore, there can be no talk of any occupation,
the military says in their statement.
It should be noted that the analytical project DeepState announced the day before that the Russians had occupied Andriivka and Novomarkove, and also advanced near Maiske.
Moreover, it was reported that the fiercest battles are taking place in the area of Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad, while Russian troops are preparing for further offensive actions on Kostiantynivka, Sloviansk, and Kramatorsk.
The situation in the Sumy region remains tense, as the activation of combat operations indicates unpredictability in the development of events. Meanwhile, Ukrainian soldiers continue to work on strengthening their positions and protecting the territory. Against the backdrop of information regarding possible Russian offensives, it is important to monitor the situation in the region.
