In particular, on the night of August 16, 2024, the Russian occupiers struck with three Iskander-M ballistic missiles, three Shahed-type strike UAVs, and two unidentified type drones from the Kursk region.

Explosions were also heard in the capital during the night air alarm. Air defense forces were operating in Kyiv.
Later, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported that there were no destructions or casualties as a result of the occupiers' attack.
By the way, the Russians continue to tactically encircle Ukrainian troops in the Pokrovsk direction. The enemy advanced and likely captured Zhelanne and Orlivka.
