Meat prices have started to rise: how the cost of chicken and pork has changed in November.
In November, the prices of meat, both chicken and pork, have increased. According to the Minfin portal, the increase in prices for these products is associated with the approach of the New Year.
For example, the prices for chicken are as follows: thigh - 123.00 UAH/kg (compared to 109.46 UAH/kg), fillet - 172.33 UAH/kg (compared to 168.08 UAH/kg), drumstick - 72.45 UAH/kg (compared to 76.26 UAH/kg), the carcass remained at the level of the previous month - 65.60 UAH/kg.
The prices for pork are as follows: brisket - 179.63 UAH/kg (compared to 170.70 UAH/kg), shoulder - 177.40 UAH/kg (compared to 175.35 UAH/kg), neck - 281.95 UAH/kg (compared to 280.95 UAH/kg), pork belly - 179.00 UAH/kg (compared to 169.26 UAH/kg), the average price of kebab has decreased to 238.03 UAH/kg from 247.48 UAH/kg.
Thus, the cost of meat continues to rise, making it less affordable for buyers. It should be noted that earlier the prices for eggs also increased.
