Gasoline in Ukraine will rise by 2 hryvnias: when to expect price growth.
According to inkorr.com: Gas prices are rising in Ukraine again this week. According to energy market expert Dmytro Lyoshkin, the price of gasoline may increase by 1 hryvnia from November 10 to 16, and by the end of the month - by an additional amount. He announced this information on the air of Lviv.media.
Forecast until the end of 2025
Lyoshkin, founder of the Prime group of companies, noted that by the end of November, the price of A-95 gasoline could rise by 2 hryvnias, and by the end of December - by another 2 hryvnias due to excise taxes. Last week, the average price of A-95 was 58.39 UAH per liter. Thus, by the end of the year, the cost of fuel may reach 62.39 UAH per liter.
Why fuel prices are rising
The main reason for the increase in prices is the ban on fuel imports from countries that process Russian oil, including Turkey and India. Due to the 19th package of EU sanctions, there is a shortage in the market, which is felt not only in Europe but also in Ukraine.
The expert notes that the market reacts to several important factors:
fuel and diesel shortages in Europe due to sanctions against Russia;
supply restrictions from Turkey and India;
expected increase in excise duties in December;
fluctuations in exchange rates affecting purchase prices.
Lyoshkin emphasized that growth may be gradual, but the upward trend will continue at least until the end of the year.
In the context of rising prices, Ukraine faces serious challenges in the energy market. The sanctions imposed significantly complicate the situation, and the huge fuel deficit has dealt an additional blow to the country's economy. The government and consumers must adapt to new realities, as these changes may affect various aspects of public life and business.
