How Ukrainian Families Can Receive Portable Power Stations for Children with Disabilities.
Government Program Offers Power Stations for Children with Disabilities
According to Novyny.live: Ukrainian families with children who have disabilities are now eligible to receive portable power stations from the state through the national postal service, JSC 'Ukrposhta'. This initiative is being implemented under Government Resolution No. 107, which aims to support children with the most significant health impairments. This program is part of broader government efforts to provide practical aid to vulnerable groups, especially during times of frequent power outages.
The power stations are provided free of charge to a parent, guardian, or legal representative of a child with a disability classified under subgroup A. Subgroup A includes individuals under 18 years of age with substantial health limitations. Applications for the power stations must be submitted by April 1, 2026, giving eligible families a long window to apply for this support.
How to Receive a Power Station
The procurement of the power stations is handled by the joint-stock company 'Ukraine's Decarbonisation Fund'. Distribution and issuance are managed by JSC 'Ukrposhta' employees, ensuring a convenient and accessible process for families to receive the equipment.
This power station program is one component of a larger Ukrainian government initiative focused on supporting persons with disabilities and their families. It provides not only material assistance but also underscores the critical importance of technological accessibility for this vulnerable segment of the population. The extended application period allows ample time for all eligible families to seek this necessary aid.
