This unique item was sold at auction in Geneva for over $4 million. Other interesting lots were presented at the same auction, including a green beryl worn by Napoleon during his coronation, as well as a whip that previously belonged to Princess Diana.
Interestingly, this diamond brooch, the loss of which became legendary, was actually a part of the family heritage of the Prussian royal house of Hohenzollern and was transferred to a private collector.
