In the Volyn region, a minor girl was taken to the intensive care unit after consuming alcohol. Her mother was held administratively accountable.
Case details
According to court documents, on May 10, around 10:00 PM, the child consumed alcoholic beverages. After that, she was hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the Novovolynsk Central City Hospital. An administrative protocol was drawn up against the mother of the small patient for failure to fulfill parental responsibilities, and the case was sent to court.
Court decision
The accused did not appear at the court hearing, although she was informed of the date of the case review. For her actions, the woman was given an administrative sanction in the form of a warning. In addition, she must pay a court fee of 605 hryvnias.
It is worth reminding that in Kyiv, a verdict was handed down to a woman who raped her five-year-old daughter. For her actions, she will spend 15 years in prison.
We also reported that in Poltava region, a woman bit a police officer on the shoulder. She was sentenced to a year of conditional imprisonment.
The incident that occurred in the Volyn region indicates serious consequences of careless attitude towards the child and failure to fulfill parental obligations. The administrative responsibility that the girl's mother was held accountable for is one of the possible measures to prevent similar situations in the future.
