Who is entitled to a 10% allowance from the minimum subsistence level
According to the PFU, citizens with the status of honored donor are entitled to such an allowance to their pension. This status is granted to people who have donated 40 one-time maximum doses of blood and 60 maximum doses of plasma.
Donors are also entitled to other benefits and protection from any forms of discrimination based on health status according to the law on blood donation.
The amount of the donor allowance is 10% of the minimum subsistence level, which in 2025 amounted to 292 UAH per month.
How to apply for an allowance to pension for donors
To receive additional payments, donors need to have a certificate 'Honored Donor of Ukraine' and submit the necessary documents to the Pension Fund.
Additionally, the PFU adds 870 UAH to pensions monthly for women and other categories of citizens. There is also a payment program of 5 thousand UAH for certain pensioners.
The Pension Fund of Ukraine reported that blood and plasma donors who have provided the necessary number of doses can receive a 10% allowance to their pension. This is one of the initiatives aimed at supporting and recognizing the noble contribution of donors to the welfare of society.Read also
