According to Novyny.live: Service centers of Ukraine's Ministry of Internal Affairs are urging citizens to save a copy of the electronic vehicle purchase agreement generated through the 'Dіia' app. They emphasize that the document is stored within the application for only one month from the date of signing. After this period expires, many individuals find themselves contacting the Ministry's service centers because they can no longer access their contract. This digital platform is part of Ukraine's push to modernize government services.
Key Functions and Storage Recommendations
When a vehicle sale is processed through 'Dіia', the purchase agreement is generated automatically. Once the deal is finalized, the document appears on the status screen of the vehicle re-registration service.
"After concluding a vehicle purchase agreement via 'Dіia', the document is formed automatically and displayed on the status screen of the vehicle re-registration service," stated Serhii Petrov.
This electronic contract serves several critical purposes:
- Acts as proof of ownership;
- Can be submitted to various institutions;
- Helps resolve legal matters related to the vehicle;
- Is required when filing an annual declaration.
To prevent losing access to this vital document, specialists strongly advise downloading it in PDF format immediately after completing the transaction.
"To avoid such situations, we recommend downloading the document in PDF format right after finalizing the agreement," added Serhii Petrov.Taking this step is crucial for vehicle owners to maintain their records.
