The third phase of the humanitarian aid project, funded by USAID's Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) and ACTED, is starting in the Dnipropetrovsk region. In one of the communities, vulnerable categories will be able to receive 10,800 UAH - reports the press service of the charity fund 'Hands of Mercy'.

What you need to know about the aid project for Ukrainians

According to representatives of the fund, the USAID’s BHA humanitarian aid project 'Provision of multi-sectoral humanitarian assistance to populations affected by the conflict in Ukraine' involves the provision of cash assistance. Residents of the village of Tomakivka, Dnipropetrovsk region, will have access to this support, but only to those who meet the criteria set by the donor.

Amount of assistance and eligibility criteria

Each person will receive 10,800 UAH in cash assistance, which will be paid from August 8 to January 1, 2026. Specific requirements for receiving assistance include:

  • no receipt of cash assistance from international organizations for the last three months;
  • monthly income less than 6,318 UAH, excluding social payments and cash assistance;
  • serious health issues;
  • households with three or more children under two years old;
  • internally displaced persons, single parents, presence of pregnant women, and others.

It is noted that registration does not guarantee automatic assistance. The project is being implemented in cooperation with the international organization World Vision with the financial support of USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) and ACTED.

The third phase of the humanitarian aid project is being launched in the Dnipropetrovsk region, which provides for the allocation of financial support to vulnerable categories of the population. The project is being carried out in partnership with international organizations and aims to help those affected by the conflict in Ukraine.
