Expensive all-inclusive resorts - what is the minimum amount needed in 2025.

Some Ukrainians choose budget resorts with all-inclusive service in the summer of 2025. Others are used to vacationing in luxurious conditions and do not regret spending money on trips. We found out which countries are expensive for an all-inclusive vacation.

Expensive all-inclusive resorts

Journalist of Novyny.LIVE Nastya Rejn examined what minimum expenses are needed for a vacation in Italy, Spain, and Portugal.

Ukrainians who often travel abroad know about the most budget-friendly vacation destinations with all-inclusive options. Traditionally, these are Bulgaria, Turkey, Egypt, Romania, Albania, and Montenegro. In contrast, expensive European resorts are rightfully considered to be Italy, Spain, and Portugal.

• Cost of vacation in Spain

In the summer of 2025, one adult will need 900-1,100 euros. A couple will have a budget of 1,600-2,000 euros. Pensioners need to gather around 1,400-1,700 euros. For example, accommodation at the H.Top Summer Sun hotel (Santa Susanna) all-inclusive for 5 nights will cost 44,253 UAH at the end of July.

• Prices for vacation in Italy

Italian resorts are slightly cheaper, but the difference is minimal. The minimum amount for one vacationer is approximately 800-1,000 euros; for two - 1,500-1,800 euros; for one adult with two children - 1,700-2,000 euros; for two pensioners - 1,300-1,600 euros. Some packages do not include the flight, so you will have to set aside money for travel.

• Cost of vacation in Portugal

One tourist will need 800-1,000 euros to spend time in sunny Portugal. A couple will spend about 1,500-1,800 euros for a few days of vacation, while pensioners will find the trip costs them 1,300-1,600 euros. The most popular resorts are Algarve, Lisbon Riviera, Madeira, and the island of Porto Santo.

'Usually, tour operators include the cost of bus tickets in the tour price. If clients want to get to the vacation destination by plane or train themselves - in some cases we can organize this,' said tour operator Tetiana Ivashchuk to the Novyny.LIVE journalist.

Travelers are advised to book packages for resorts in advance, as the summer season is peak. Hot tours are snatched up very quickly, and hotel rooms are not in endless supply.

What else Ukrainians should know

It is worth noting that temporary fines of up to 450 euros have been introduced in the Italian resort of Portofino for walking in swimsuits, drinking alcohol in public, and picnicking outside of beaches. The restrictions will be in effect until September 30, when the peak vacation period ends.

We have also reported how much money you need to bring to the Bukovel ski resort in July 2025. For one person, 10,000 UAH will be enough if you choose a budget cottage and spend modestly on food or entertainment.
