Rising river levels and flooding can have serious consequences for local communities, including damage to homes and agricultural land. It is vital that residents follow the State Emergency Service's recommendations and be prepared for possible evacuations should the situation deteriorate. Monitoring weather conditions and being ready to respond quickly can reduce risks to people and property.
