DTEK showed a transformer destroyed by Russia in Odesa region.
DTEK's energy workers installed a damaged transformer in Kulikove Pole in the city of Odesa on the occasion of the Day of Liberation of the city. This 35-ton transformer operated for over 30 years and supplied electricity to more than 10 thousand customers. In March, the transformer was damaged during an enemy attack and was impossible to restore. To demonstrate the consequences of Russian attacks, it was transported from the damaged substation to Kulikove Pole.
“Today we honor all the heroes who defended our land and continue to protect it. The exhibition of destroyed equipment is a vivid reminder that the enemy always seeks to destroy us. But we are always ready to resist, to be one whole, and to win. I express my gratitude to the military, State Emergency Service, energy workers, medics, and every resident of Odesa region who contributes to victory,” said the head of Odesa Regional State Administration Oleg Kiper.
It is also worth noting that the installation called “Battle for Light,” created by DTEK, became an exhibit at the National Museum of the History of Ukraine. This is another artifact that testifies to the Russo-Ukrainian War.
