Former Commander of the Armed Forces Serhiy Naiev is on the front line

Lieutenant General Serhiy Naiev reported on his Telegram channel that he arrived at the front line and familiarized himself with the composition of forces and means. He also noted that the soldiers are tired but unyielding. Naiev emphasized that the defense is maintained not only by weapons but also by the strength of spirit. Each soldier is a story of courage and pain. They believe in Ukraine's victory.

Recently, it was revealed that Naiev received a directive for the appointment as the commander of the tactical group 'Velyka Novosilka'. This was reported by journalist Yuriy Butusov. This information has not yet been confirmed or denied by the operational-strategic grouping of troops 'Khortytsia'.

Recently, Naiev stated that he had not received any document indicating the beginning of Russia's offensive on February 24, 2022. Therefore, the military had no opportunity to properly prepare for repelling the aggression. Later, Naiev was dismissed from the position of commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Since his dismissal, General Naiev frequently visits military hospitals and assists injured soldiers.

Currently, investigators from the State Bureau of Investigations are examining the failures in military command planning that contributed to the rapid occupation of Southern Ukraine.
