Russians record 213 attacks in a day: main breakthrough direction.
According to ТСН: Russian troops have intensified their actions at the front, recording a record 213 clashes in a day. The main focus is on the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad direction. An expert notes that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are currently in a 'helpless defense' and lack the resources for counterattacks.
This information was announced by military expert and founder of the charitable organization 'Reactive Postal Service' Pavlo Narožnyi on the air of 'Radio NV'.
He emphasized that the number of clashes has significantly increased to 213 in a day. According to the expert, the situation remains unchanged, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine are in a 'helpless defense'.
'It is unlikely that they (counterattacks - ed.) will happen. Right now, we are in a helpless defense. The task is to hold the sections of the front, but not to counterattack, as there are no resources for that,' Narožnyi said.
The expert believes that in the coming weeks, the Russian Federation will focus its efforts on the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad direction. The main goal of the Russian occupiers remains to break through on this front and disrupt Ukrainian logistics in the Donbas.
New defense benchmark for the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Pavlo Narožnyi also pointed out that the area of Huliaipole in the Zaporizhzhia region has become strategically important for the Defense Forces.
He noted that in this area, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are actively strengthening the river that runs through Huliaipole, planning to establish it as a new frontier for holding back the enemy.
'They (the occupiers - ed.) are accumulating forces for a series of strikes, delivering them in waves. And they will continue to apply pressure. Since their strategic goal is to break through this section of the front and disrupt our logistics in Donbas. If they break through, they will be able to achieve this. But for now, there is not even a hint of that,' Narožnyi added.
It should be noted that recently ISW analysts stated that the Russian army is trying to isolate Huliaipole from the north and continues its advance towards the city from the northeast and east. Geolocation videos indicate that Russian troops recently captured Vesele, located to the east of Huliaipole.
Military expert Serhii Bratchuk also reported that there has been a regrouping of Russian forces near Huliaipole. The enemy is trying to use the tactic of encirclement, creating 'pockets' to bypass settlements instead of frontal attacks, which are very risky for them.
Amid the continuation of hostilities and the activation of Russian forces, the situation at the front remains tense. It is important to monitor the development of events, as changes in warfare tactics can have a significant impact on the strategies of both sides.
