Psychologist Olena Adamova shared useful tips in her Instagram post about how to maintain your health during the war, especially psychological health. She noted that now is not the time for luxuries like love, morning coffee, walks, sports, beauty, and happiness.
'Even those who may consider themselves safe cannot enjoy manicures, evening coffee in a café, buying cosmetics, self-love, and joy. No! Stop this! It's important to understand that life during the war continues,' - wrote the psychologist.
The psychologist also emphasized that the main task is to survive and remain psychologically resilient. A morning routine, meditation, pleasant communication, and watching movies are the foundation of psychological health and stability.
'If you consciously decide to give up these joys now (even if you have the opportunity to rest, work, and take care of yourself), it is the same as stopping life,' - assured the psychologist.
It is important to follow a healthy lifestyle and not forget about psychological well-being, even in the difficult times of war.
The psychological approach mentioned in the post to maintaining health during the war emphasizes the importance of maintaining psychological resilience and focusing on fundamental aspects of life that contribute to psychological well-being. Refusing these aspects can lead to a halt in life, even in a difficult period of war.Read also
