Russian Attack on Energy: Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia Regions Almost Completely Without Electricity

According to ТСН: The Ministry of Energy confirmed that as a result of today's hostile attack, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions have been left almost without electricity.

According to information from the ministry, Russian troops again struck at Ukraine's energy infrastructure. As a result, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions have faced serious restrictions on electricity supply.

Backup Power and Recovery Works

Critical infrastructure in these regions is currently operating on backup power.

“Survey of damage, assessment of consequences, and recovery work will begin as soon as the security situation allows,”
the Ministry of Energy stated.

Calls for Conservative Consumption

Ukrenergo reported the priority task for energy workers — supplying critical infrastructure.

“If you currently have electricity in Dnipropetrovsk or Zaporizhzhia regions, please consume electricity as conservatively as possible. This will help reduce the load on the networks and supply more consumers,”
Ukrenergo urged.

Problems with Heating Supply

According to information, severe difficulties with electricity, heating, and water supply are currently being experienced in Krivyi Rih.

Additionally, the city of Dnipro experienced a complete blackout due to a strike on the energy infrastructure by the Russian Federation. All thermal power plants and substations in the region have been shut down.

Zaporizhzhia and the region also remain without electricity, water, and heating.

This news highlights the critical situation in central and southern regions of Ukraine, which have once again become targets of hostile attacks. Authorities urge residents to be cautious with electricity consumption and to maintain energy stability in difficult conditions. The quick restoration of electricity supply depends not only on comfort but also on the safety of local residents.
