"єOselya" became more accessible: which Ukrainians can get a mortgage with a down payment from 10%.
It has become easier for Ukrainian youth to get a mortgage with the help of the єOselya program
The Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko, reported that the mortgage loan program єOselya has become more accessible for young Ukrainians.
According to the new rules, Ukrainians under the age of 26 will be able to get a mortgage with only a 10% down payment of the property value, instead of the previous 20%.
This step will reduce the barrier for young Ukrainians who want to own their own homes and significantly increase their participation in the program, Svyrydenko emphasized.
To use the program, you need to follow a few simple steps:
- go to the "Services" section in the Diya app and select the "єOselya" option;
- fill out the application for the loan and choose a bank for loan processing;
- sign all necessary documents using an electronic signature through Diya.
After receiving a response from the bank in the "Diya" app, you can start arranging the mortgage.
According to the Ministry of Economy, currently only 9% of program participants are young people. This is due to the high down payment requirements, which previously stood at 20% of the property value. However, reducing this figure to 10% will significantly increase the number of young participants in the program.
